That's what I thought when I read those! Very odd.

Summerhillsquare · 08/10/2024 07:22

I don't think one is has it the grammatical error: 40's and another one I can't now remember.

I don't know about the other one.

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 08/10/2024 07:29

Yes, there's been a far higher than usual amount of bullshit over the last few days.

UmbrellaEllaEllaElla · 08/10/2024 07:37

It's bound to happen now AI and Chat GPT have been unleashed on the world.

Two reasons. At least.

Firstly there are currently PhD students studying Mumsnet and their bad opinions and reactions, and scraping the data illegally so need to renerate some bad opinions in order to study the responses. See the Aston University debacle, all the universities that are studying language, language models, and any internet or AI in general will be doing it.

Secondly, they are using massive data bases, including Mumsnet, to inform future AI. This is at a much higher level. This is the largest database of female responses probably in the world so it is a massive target for 'teaching'. Unfortunately the AI itself is tainted so all responses will be filtered through lenses that don't exist in women's viewpoints.

Trebolle · 08/10/2024 08:30

They use them as a practise for the AIs. At the moment they're easy to spot but when they keep going and tweak them we soon won't be able to tell.

vodkaredbullgirl · 08/10/2024 11:47

Another one bites the dust

Threewheeler1 · 08/10/2024 12:15

Feels like we're being spammed with AI posts at the moment 👀
(...flexes special newly-discovered 'reporty finger'...)
I'm just looking out for the next thread that refers to us as 'girls'...

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 08/10/2024 12:19

oh i don't think that was AI, I think that was a twat.
