He’s 54 I’m 37 he’s always been younger than his age in the way he acts and looks young the age isn’t really a issue I find him attractive and we get on but… lately he’s not interested in sex and if we do he can’t c@@ he’s always been sex mad not juts with me but in other relationships, he says it’s his age he says it’s work he’s tired stress but nothings changed work wise he works goes to pub has his tea and he’s in bed for 7/8 I can’t go that early he never use to but he’s changing and I’m getting sick of it it’s going like 2/3 weeks no sex not even a cuddle or anything I don’t get it

I think this is just the reality of aging.

He is who he is, you can't change that. If he is just not as interested in the same things as you due to being at a different life stage or significantly different ages, then it might just be that this difference is too much for both of you.

You both might be happier in relationships where your lifestyles and expectations are more compatible.

How is the relationship outside of this?

He might look and act younger than his age but the reality is he is 54 and his body doesn’t work like it used to.

Though I’m a few years older than him and I’ve never gone to bed at 7/8.

I do think this is the issue with age gap relationships than many predict on here. There comes a time where the age difference starts to become a factor and once it does, the gulf gets wider and wider.

Yeah this. Even if his routine hasn’t changed, his age has, this is the reality of an age gap relationship.

Is there a history of heart problems in his family, or other health complaints? My dp thought his tiredness and erection issues were age until he had a heart attack.
