Marriage after 30 years together

So.. been with DP for 30 years and have a 21 year old DD. I want to be married always wanted to but DP not interested, in the past he has cheated and I took home back, feel like I have wasted the last few years. Why do men not want to commit!

Well you've left it abit late to kick up a fuss!

Are you financially dependant? Job, pension pot, jointly owned home, life insurance, wills?

I think in your situation that's what I would be concentrating on at this stage.

There are plenty of women on MN who refuse to get married.
