Am I reading too much into social media interactions, do guys keep tabs on girls social media postings?

Does anyone think it means anything if a guy is constantly watching your instagram stories and is always in the first few people to view it?

I’m probably just overthinking as personally I dont watch every single persons stories on instagram, i tend to just watch peoples here and there and dont always watch them every time they post. I used to have a crush on this guy and noticed he has suddenly started watching my insta stories and is sometimes one of the first people to view it

Probably just means he’s on instagram a lot.

He's probably just bored and scrolling, like the majority.

You can set notifications to ping every time a certain person posts something so it’s possible he’s done that or, as others have said, he might just be on insta a lot

Maybe he is on Instagram a lot and doesn’t follow many people or else you post a lot more than the others so it keeps coming up.

Once you interact with someone's posts the all-knowing algorithms will promote their posts in your feed so chances are he's seeing all your posts above other accounts he follows. So it's self perpetuating
