ilovecats2024 · 21/09/2024 18:48

So tonight is my partners works night out and partners invited.
The last one I hated
They all got drunk
Loud,two people started fighting
It was horrible

So I'm just getting over a cold
I've exaggerated my symptoms and said to him I wasn't well enough to go.
So he's gone out and I've told him to just take his key and let himself in.
So I'm in bed waiting for strictly with chocolate and a cuppa
Tbh I do still feel a bit rubbish

A white lie is okay isn't it ?

I'd just be honest next time and say you didn't enjoy it previously so you'd rather not go. I'd also plan a night out with friends myself for the same night

You should really be able to tell him the truth.

WandaFishy99 · 21/09/2024 18:51

I don't blame you one bit!

cocktails4two · 21/09/2024 18:51

Of course it is, especially if it means you don't have to miss Strictly😉

There is no need to lie about this.
