Am reluctantly considering going back on O.L.D.
Expecting to have to go through all the same crap again, but any tips on how to find genuine matches that are who they say they are and are actually looking for a real LTR?

Go on a site where they have to fill out lots of information eg OkCupid where they can answer lots of questions. Spend a lot of time reading the profiles and only chat to ones that look invested & seem to have the same dating goals. Make sure your profile makes it clear you aren’t interested in one night stands. Stick to the 3 date (or more) rule.
