Date coming up this week - tomorrow. We haven't made a plan yet as he has been away with work. So as far as I know is still tbc. Although we have been in touch.

So this return to OLD after a long gap to recover from a shit ex, what are your green flags and red ones that are non negotiable for you.? Reminding myself what to keep an eye out for... and also what not to do!

Green flags:

On time
Respectful
Interested in you and asks questions
Doesn't have crazy exes or bring up exes
Solvent
Has a range of interests
Clean and presentable
Good conversationalist
Funny

Red flags:

Handsy
Regales you with stories of exes
Uses misogynist language and sexist stereotypes
Tries to get you drunk
Sexual talk
Late
Talks over you or explains things you know
Eyes up women
Ill kempt, dirty nails, no effort made
Tight
Expects you to carry the conversation
Takes himself very seriously

For a first date I’d be hoping to have a natural flowing conversation, have a few laughs and just feel relaxed with someone. I think there needs to be a bit of chemistry there too.
