My manager is really awkward with me and I don’t know why.
When I started working at the company, I was friendly with everyone the same but for some reason my interactions with him caused me to feel insecure. He’d be friendly then turn on me/say something bossy.
If I’m honest, I had a little crush on him. He can be charming and Christmas he sent a thank you card with my favourite chocolates (remembering our conversation during a work event).
During work events he also talks badly about his partner. He says that she’s always angry with him even though he does everything at home. He also mentioned that he drinks quite a bit and doesn’t enjoy the things he looks like he’s enjoying on the face of it.
I have recently been in therapy for low self esteem and confidence issues and my crush has since disappeared.
I can’t for the life of me figure him out but my mind tells me to be careful.
