Just need to vent!
Matched with a "lovely" guy this week. He called every night and chatted for nearly 2 hours each night. asked to meet up on Sunday (today) even agreed I should book a table as the venue is popular. Txt me all day Saturday. My son was 18 and he was asking if we were having a good day etc. txt when I got home, and he basically said he was tired and going to bed but would see me tomorrow. I did think the tone was a bit off. So of course woke to "sorry not coming today. Good luck with your search" and blocked me!
They don't have any realisation that someone might have their feelings hurt. Iv been single years and keep trying OLD but this happens more often than not. Guessing he might have had a partner already or just a player.
I am a young 50 and have great friends and social life but having been single so long it would be lovely to meet someone but it doesn't happen.
