I'd like to have information about interaction with a girl

I went out recently and met a girl. I hardly knew her. At one point she said, your shirt doesn't fit right. She asked if she could do it right. She did so, touching my chest and looking straight into my eyes. What could this mean?

Nothing.

QuickDraining · 12/09/2024 16:04

Is this a poem?

GCAcademic · 12/09/2024 16:05

I’m guessing it means you’re bored after your first week back at school.

ThisPresetIsSelected · 12/09/2024 16:06

Sounds like Pulp lyrics. Did she buy you a rum and cola?

No, I'm serious.

She was trying to tell you to get a new shirt.

What’s your style/size/age? What sort of things do you usually go for? What’s your budget. Head over to the beauty and style board, there are loads of people who will help you out!

No, but she shared her beer with me.

Buy a size up or down

I am 32, I wore a nice shirt, in the right size.

Personally if I was a date with someone and they started fiddling with my clothes and gazing into my eyes, I'd receive the interaction in the spirit of flirting, how have you post gauged your reaction: Mind the shirt. Get off of me. Oh that's nice, pet me some more. All or other?

Sounds like she didn’t think the shirt was a nice as you thought it was.

Not to worry, if you’re happy with your style embrace it! Don’t worry about what others think if you’re happy in yourself.

Where did you buy your shirt from? Sometimes if you’re bigger in the chest area it can gape a bit, happens to lots of people. Safety pins are good for keeping it closed.

Franka99 · 12/09/2024 16:14

It was not about the shirt, but about the collar. The shirt was new and neat!

A string vest will expand and contract correctly for all seasons.

Collars can be tricky if you’re not used to them. I have to rearrange my mum’s sometimes as it gets a bit wonky (this can happen over the course of the evening).

Sounds like you looked a bit skewed and she was being kind enough to help. A bit like when you point out someone has toilet roll attached to their shoe.

That’s a great shout, and no pesky collar to worry about.

I would bring a cardigan though as it’s getting cold now.

HoppityBun · 12/09/2024 16:18

It means she’s after your assets

DollopOfFun · 12/09/2024 16:19

She might have thought you looked like you needed a bit of help, you know, with doing up buttons etc

TheShellBeach · 12/09/2024 16:21

She quite clearly fancied you and wanted to get married ASAP.

HTH

It was not a date, I met her somewhere. After the interaction we had a nice conversation, and she shared het beer with me. But, I had to go because I rode with someone.

I said I had to go and put my arm around waist her for a moment

Blimey, that sounds like a very awkward interaction!

It’s best not to touch people you don’t know without their permission.

What exactly was awkward? My interaction or her?

Yours. Don’t try and touch people’s waists, especially those you have just met.

Just chalk it up to experience and try a top without a collar next time you go out to minimise the possibility of looking disheveled enough for people to feel the need to mother you.
