So I find myself in another abusive relationship, where do I turn

I came out of a long term DV relationship and settled down with the now father of my child (6mo). Tonight he lost his temper but not just shouting within an argument, he punched a door as he stormed out. What do I do. He's been drinking so there's the contributing factor but I have no where else to go tonight and knowing he's gone to the pub he'll probably be even worse later. But Apologetic tomorrow.

I promised myself I wouldn't be in this situation again.

Call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline 0808 2000 247 they are open 24/7

If you feel unsafe, do you have anywhere you can go tonight? If you have no friends or relatives, a Premier Inn?

You've obviously got into another DV relationship. You need to work out how to get out. Your local domestic abuse organisation will be able to advise.

Have you done the freedom program? It's common I did the program but still ended up with an abuser different type to my ex but still I was like??? Why haven't I learned enough 😕 luckily I was able to get out fast but ffs

Sign up for the Freedom program. It helps you reset your thinking. And hopefully stops you finding another abusive relationship, or helps you to recognise what you are getting into and leave.

@poppyzbrite4 I don't feel unsafe, I don't think he'd ever physically harm me and definitely not our DD. But I expect there will be some hurtful words when he gets home though.

We live in the country so no immediate hotels nearby

Thanks @Theunamedcat and @Ukholidaysaregreat I had heard about the freedom programme. Never done it, but will look into it. How could I have been so stupid to not see this coming
