If your marriage went through a rough patch after 2nd toddler, how did it improve?

Just saw on a different thread that the most common time for divorce is after their second child becomes a toddler (going back to work, sustained pressures of parenting etc). How did it improve? When? Did you take any steps or did it just naturally get better?

I’m kind of here now, DH has shared that sometimes he considers leaving us all. He’s got depression which needs more treatment (I think). I’m unsatisfied and unsupported in an adult relationship sense although he’s there as a parent 100%. We are going to start couples counselling…
