Being told I'm looking for things

Anyone been told your just looking for things, are you just looking for things or similar?
Been told this over the years by 3 different people now I am being to wonder if it's me, is there something weird about me, I have wondered if I am nd, narcissistic, picky or obsessed.

The things I were raising concerns about were all different & unrelated also.
I don't want to go into too much detail but the subjects were- unsatisfactory childcare (professional)
- disability concerns
-relationship trouble (verging on verbal abuse)

Do you mean looking for things to complain about? Is that what you mean?Because i'll be direct here and tell you outright - no-one likes a moaner.

There's something called an external locus of control. Basically do you believe things that happen, happen because they happen TO you, or do you believe you have power in almost any situation?

If you spend time looking for someone to blame, rather than looking for what you can do to change things, it can come across as looking for issues.

Just a thought though, may be completely unrelated.

I’m also confused about what specifically you mean?

That's interesting I will look into that @MrsTerryPratchett

It's hard to explain without too much detail, the childcare oncecwas issues I wasn't happy with the poor childcare I took my son out in the end but was told I was looking for things by poor management when I raised concerns.

The disability one, I was told I'm just looking for things when I raised concerns about my child showing signs of asd (I know what I'm looking for as another child already has it & I've worked in setting for asd children)

3rd being told by partner when I've raised issues im not happy with in relationship, oh your just looking for things

How can we possibly tell without knowing the details?
