Is this lack of sex common?

dh and I have been married for 15 years and together for 20. Both early 40’s with two teens.

We are both happy together ( I think) but we just hardly ever have sex. We can go months with nothing. I’m not sure how or why it’s happened, it just has!!

Is this the same for anyone else?

Yes, it’s not like we’re not attracted to each other, it just seems to have become less and less of a priority

As you both want to have sex, then you need to schedule it. Sounds deeply unromantic, but that doesn’t matter once you are having the sex you both want.

Many people stop having sex because one partner no longer wants to. It’s great that you’re not in this position.
