If your dh/dp went to the gym every evening?

Dp has started going to the gym every evening from around 7-8:45pm. He doesn't tend to go at the weekends but every weekday.

This is the time I get dc ready for bed and clean up after dinner. So he basically comes home to dc in bed and the house clean and tidy.

I never go out in the evenings, just never had any plans and quite happy to stay at home anyway.

Would this bother you though?

He is a joke. Does he think you haven't noticed? How dare he opt out of helping with the children every single weeknight. Show him all these massages and tell him to behave!!

It's completely unacceptable. He's got a family and it's not fair on you to do everything alone every night. Ask him to go in the morning before work or to exercise during his lunch break.

Utterly unacceptable!

I think it sad that he is not spending more time with the kids. I'd be asking/suggesting that 2/3 nights a week he goes After they're in bed or in the morning (unless that means you're then doing all the grafting in the morning too!)

Nothing wrong with him going to the gym every night but he either goes after he puts DC to bed or after he cleans up. Not before either.
