I’m sure (unfortunately) many women have been in a similar situation so just seeking some answers/reassurance.
After an ex of mine wouldn’t take no for an answer his behaviour escalated from threatening suicide and lies about his health to actual threats to me. I contacted the police and a harassment warning was issued. I still to this day don’t feel I did enough, police suggested I could’ve had a restraining order put against him but I didn’t want to take him to court.
I’m basically just wondering how long a harassment warning lasts ( if there is a time limit), whether or not it would show up on a Clares law search/crb check. I’d hate to think of another woman being put through what I was, you hear so often of behaviour like this escalating over time.
