Feelings of loneliness when have a rich life

Please can someone explain this feeling please?

I am single but have a rich life with a range of friendships and interests. I have always felt this sense of loneliness.

How and when does it manifest? Feeling lonely despite having friendships and a social life might be an indicator that they aren’t the right kind of friendships, or that you’ve grown apart from long-standing friends as you’ve all gotten older and changed. Have you often felt lonely even when you have had a partner in the past? Perhaps what you’re feeling isn’t loneliness exactly, but being unfulfilled or unsure if you’re where you want to be with life?

I have the same deep feeling, as it there is a deep hole that needs to be filled and being around people is just a distraction, I often can't bear silence, I understand how you feel.
