NC as outing. Been together 7 years, own a home, early 30s, no kids. The past few months I’ve been quite hot on how it’s time he proposes or moves on (not least because I want children soon and want to be married!). He has said many times that he will…! But whilst I truly love him I know he’s not the most organised of souls. That said, he has said many many times it will be this year.
Anyway, I signed for a parcel because he was on a call. Normally he says what he ordered, and he didn’t, so I asked (it is a much larger box than ring size!!). He said, sheepishly, “nothing”.
Later, when he’d gone out, I looked at the box and googled the sender - the distributor for a diamond retailer I’ve been getting ads for for months (I assume because we’re on the same WiFi and that’s where he’s been looking?). I was coming home from work earlier and he was clearly looking at it, then by the time I had finished washing my hands and come downstairs he had hidden it under the sofa.
Is this it? Is he finally going to propose? I’m so excited!!! But please talk me down so I don’t get too ahead of myself.
