So we started talking on Tinder as a joke, but it turns out we already followed each other on Instagram. He went to the same school as my sister, so it’s kind of weird because we knew each other in childhood and live in the same town, but we haven't seen each other in years. After connecting on Tinder, he started replying to my stories, telling me I'm beautiful. I'm not sure if he's actually interested in me because of our past; he hasn't said he wants to date or anything. We went out, and it was nice—we talked a lot, but it felt more friendly. We’ve continued talking since, but I feel uneasy expressing my feelings or flirting more than jokingly because I know his friends, so it feels a bit awkward. I kind of like him, but I'm not sure if he sees me as more than a friend.
