He’s rude and disrespectful. Does he treat other people like this? How does he interact with people at work, his boss, etc. I bet he doesn’t act this way with them. And if he doesn’t, then he knows it’s rude and acts appropriately. With you he doesn’t care because he thinks you’ll just eat it. And because you’ve called him on it he’s taken to calling you names. It’s bad behaviour and you shouldn’t put up with it.

Not a control freak. Just somebody who expects, and isn't being given, basic level of respect.

Sounds just like a typical argument to me!

I dont know if most on here have perfect relationships and mine have been rubbish but arguments happen. Words are said that shouldnt be, go silent, call names. If it happens all the time then an issue, if a one off or rare event I dont see much of a problem
