I’ve been stay at home mother for nearly 7 years!

Before that, I was working as an executive assistant in corporate companies..

I haven’t upskilled since and have been looking at jobs / retraining..

something I can earn enough money to support myself and DC.. my husband has been sole provider and is now very resentful for this.. I need to start working again asap!!!

any ideas on starting over? I don’t want to go into teaching…

I changed careers at 41. I had been working. In corporate banking, got a PT job in school finance and did the business manager exams, now Director of Ops in a commercial business.

The beauty of doing it after a period as SAHM is that you can afford to start right at the bottom, so really you can do anyhting you fancy.

It can be hard getting back into work after being at home for a while. I don't have any advice but just wanted to say go for it and good luck!

Bit unfair of your H to be resentful over what I assume was a joint decision.

plus child rearing is still work. Good luck with the job hunt.
