Went on a date Friday. Was okay and i enjoyed myself.
He asked me to go out again.
Yet he is not attentive , forgets to send " good morning beautiful " /" good night " and yes i'm needy and used to that from men i dated

Then when i'm trying to talk to him his replies are emojis and stickers . I'm 35 and he is 55 . I feel like i'm
talking to a child ,

So i just whatsapp'ed him " talking to you is like flogging a dead horse - i get emoji or sticker in reply " .

He replied with sticker . Would you go on second date ? For me communication is important and i like to talk throughout the day.

Want to block him now is it over reaction?

TIA

Also it was just an example of " good morning beautiful "

Anything to show he cares about my day .

How was your day ? How was work ? What are your plans ? etc etc

But yeah maybe he is not used to this as i blocked him on Whatsapp and he is calling. maybe he prefers calls .

Thanks everyone who replied X

Did you message him before blocking telling him you wasn’t feeling it?

You sound a bit high maintenance. You met only on Friday and you expect him to be texting you ‘morning beautiful’. That seems a bit ott.

Lots of people require a lot of attention and have happy relationships. There isn't a benchmark we're meant to meet regarding our needs. The idea is to be who you are, respect your needs, and find someone (if you want someone) who meets them.

If it seems OTT to you, then OP isn't the one for you, but your personal judgement isn't 'universal advice'.

OP you're looking for someone who suits you, not to change yourself so you suit someone else.

@Threeweeksold everyone is entitled to certain expectations in dating - those are mine . Doesn't have to be "morning beautiful " like i said just showing interest daily in me and my day ...

He said he wants second date and hopefully relationship with me so that's what he has to do now

@SamW98 He called me and we had a good chat

I think he just prefers calls/FaceTime to catch up daily
No more stickers 😂
