Ok ladies,

I am 45 and I think im going through the changes of life. Me & Fiance have a great life and nothing to really fuss about. While most couples argue about money, cheating, family, etc ... we literally have nothing to fuss about.

Soooo my mans wants to fuss about the knives i use in the knife block ( I mean WTH are they there for if you don't want me to use them) the light switches - we have lived together for 3 years - he has a 7,900 sq ft home and HUNDREDS OF LIGHT SWITCHES that turns some of the same lights are different places in the house & THE FANS! OMG THE FANS IN THE BATHROOM! HE has 6 in the master bathroom - I usually on turn on the 3 that I think I need and he requires that I use ALL 6 - I really think he just looks for stuff to complain about and I can't even take him serious at times. He literally got out of bed this morning (I work because I want to and cannot sit at home - he is semi-retired and doesn't do anything all day- I am a accounting manager and LOVE MY JOB!) to check to see if I used ALL 6 FANS THIS MORNING - AND I DIDNT. I'm sorry but all i could do was laugh at his pettiness.

He told me last night that I was selfish because I don't do what he ask me to do. My response was "please tell me we are not talking about the knife block, light switches & the FANS!" TO ME - THIS IS PETTY!

Am I being unreasonable or is he just complaining to complain???

This controlling and therefore abusive horror of a man is your fiancé?. Honestly raise your bar and part ways far sooner rather than later.
