Hello.I'm a mum of two happily married. We mixed marriage polish and English. We have no help in terms of childcare and at the moment I'm a stay at home mum until my second baby is 2 School holidays are approaching and I'm dreading it doing on my own. It's going to be expensive and the weather is crap.I've done that last year and it nearly broke me.My mum offered to pay for the plain tickets for me and the kids. That would be 2 weeks in a lovely location with my family. However my husband is opposing thr idea because he won't see the kids. But at the same time he won't take any time off to help.

Absolutely go on holiday! It's only 2 weeks.. they'll enjoy seeing Granny and you'll enjoy a break

Go! I think it's perfectly normal in such circumstances that one parent and the kids might go away to visit family abroad. He can facetime the kids while you're away.
