Has anyone realized they’re gay after marrying the opposite sex?

Or know of anyone in this situation? Maybe too rare to ask for first hand expetiences!

I know several.
A friend of my parents was married to a women for 30 years. Stayed put until his youngest child left home, although he realised he was gay many years before. Then asked for a divorce. It was a different time/generation and his children refused to see him after that, very sad really. But he met someone and spent the rest of his life with that man. They were very happy together

Also my husbands ex. She left him for another woman, a few months before I met him. She seems happy enough in her new life.

I remember one man we all suspected he liked other sex but she married this sweet girl. That poor sweet girl was beyond broken a few years in after catching him in bed with.. ...her brother. It was a shit show and distressing.

I don’t think it’s that rare. I know a few - both men and women. They have all gone on to have happy relationships and been accepted by their children.

A couple of doors down the wife left, she is now married to another woman and so is he. The blokes did a bit of inevitable Micky taking but all parties are happy now I believe.
