Most dating sites/apps are owned by same company. Google 'Match Group, Inc' they control most known dating platforms.
Unfortunately they all advertise as free but the sites are impossible to contact potential suitors without upgrading with £.
Tried 'Bumble' created by Tinder creator & navigates like that site. Again had to purchase £ to interact.
Surprised by younger likes of my profile, hard to decipher from the 'fake user' road to nowhere interactions, but you get use to weeding them out. If I get a like usually swap numbers than message on App. Made use of phones dual sim card option so potential suitors don't have personal number, if the connection dies block their number and move on.
Have chatted to dozens last year or so via this method, met only a few in person. Only met up after few weeks messaging & you are mad not to make use of video calls.
Current & best match (15 years younger) has been a long distance one, so make use of Apps distance option. Seeing once a month, take turns traveling, will do fortnightly during end of summer.
Best advice don't let these sites milk you of your £ & make use of WhatsApp video calls to weed them out & break ice with good suitors.
