No sex

My partner (not live in) got a sinus infection/cold 4 weeks ago. Since then he hasn't wanted/initiated sex. He is suffering, out of breath, constant nose blowing etc. However, during this time he has played golf. gone to pub and doing DIY without any problems. I am not at the stage that I am wondering why if he can do these things, why can't he be intimate. He is still hugging/kissing/holding hands and no problems between us/arguments of anything of that nature. He has always been a little bit lacking in interest, but great in bed when he gets there ! LOL but 4 Weeks ! ! ! Not sure what to think.

If I'm feeling rubbish i really don't want to be intimate with my DP... or even touched for that matter.

I'd happily do my own activities, though.

Maybe it's the same for him

He probably just doesn't feel like it.

If this is a problem for you OP, it might be better to rethink the relationship as mismatched libidos can be difficult. You can't expect him to change and he can't expect you to change so decide now if it's a dealbreaker.

I can't imagine wanting to shove my face next to someone elses if I was suffering with a sinus infection, nose blowing, and out of breath. He probably doesn't feel very sexy at all, I know I wouldn't. I probably wouldn't want to shag someone that was huffing and puffing and sneezing and full of snot though, so I'm not sure my opinion is helpful!

So what has he said when you asked him about it? Or when you have tried to initiate?
