So I got an email today from a guy, In short "was going through some old emails and thought I'd say hi, how are you?" He'd replied to an email I'd sent him saying it was nice to meet, enjoyed the evening and hopefully we could meet up when our schedules allowed". Clearly someone I'd met once from OLD.
You might think OK maybe it was from a year or two ago. No, my email to him was dated 31st July...2013!!
I mean ok I know that sometimes a guy you meet a few times might get in touch a few months later hoping for some kind of booty call or whatever but 11 years??? 😂
He could have been married and divorced in that time. Maybe he was! But even then would you not just not set up a new dating profile? Not trawl through your emails for decades old contacts.
Obviously I will not be replying. I don't even remember him tbh. But I know I was OLD at the time and clearly I did email him then. But just wondering if anyone can beat that for time past before the person resurfaces! Different if he'd maybe been an old friend or previous "proper" relationship. But one date? Crazy.
