DH works too hard, doesn’t take holidays, gets super stressed then blows up at me. He hates work atm.
I work part time, it’s taken me ages to get this work, I feel anxious and guilty when he says he hates work. I’m looking for more work, it’s £12 an hour which he says isn’t enough.
how can I help?

If jobs paying £12 an hour is all that's available, then that's what it has to be. What qualifications do you have - could you retrain?

ZekeZeke · 17/06/2024 15:59

I bet he doesn't blow up with clients, friends....he is choosing to blow up with you!

If he hates his job he needs to get a new one. That's up to him.

Why can't he go part time?

mrsm43s · 17/06/2024 16:05

Why is he having to do the lions share of the earning?

Can he not go part time, and you step up to full time for a while?
Are their childcare responsibilities?

Do you work part time due to childcare? Can you increase hours at all?
