Divorce - Form E

Any help would be appreciated!

it’s been 6 months since my ex was advised the complete form E… he keeps delaying it, saying he doesn’t have time to fill out the form and when I ask how far along he is he just ignores the topic all together.

im really at the end of my rope with this now. Is there anyway we can force the hand so to speak?

financial situation is getting worse for me with him paying bare minimum sometimes not at all. I just want the house sold and to be able to move on with my daughter (who he never asks about!) and start afresh. It just feels like I’m in prison, just stuck in Groundhog Day whilst he’s off living his life with the home wrecker and has no remorse for what he has done and doesn’t care about his daughter. I’m yet to even hear the word sorry come out of his mouth.

its absolute torture, he has financial control still and it’s getting me down so much. Surely there is something that can be done?

any advise would be great!

I presume you are going through solicitors? In that case he can delay indefinitely.

Apply to Family court. Solicitors can do it - OR if you want to save money - do Litigant in person or direct access barrister.

Court will then set timing for forms submission. It’ll be harder to ignore those deadlines. May even nudge Ex to negotiate and come to an agreement
