Rant dating app!

Sorry but need to rant here.

What is wrong with people?
Thought I was talking to a decent enough man via OLD , swapped numbers, had the phone call, scheduled the coffee date for this Saturday afternoon. And he’s randomly blocked me on WhatsApp and unmatched me on the app.

I’ve had another man do something similar a few weeks ago.

Surely one person cannot have this much bad luck.
These are men in their 30’s, grown men!

After short exchange on the app and one phone call I would not bother either. He's changed his mind about you. Yes it would be decent to let you know but the reality of online dating is a bit different.

Was it just one phone call? no other communication? Sometimes you need to keep a bit of rapport going or they think you've lost interest, works both ways of course.

No it was a lot of chat on the app before we even swapped numbers. An hour long phone call. And texting back and forth on WhatsApp.

it's the randomness of it. I would expect this from someone younger not someone in their 30's.

I’ve had worse behaviour from men in their 50’s. Including one who blocked on WhatsApp after a long phone call and him confirming a date for the next day.

There's an awful lot of flaky time wasters out there

At least he didn't try to engage you in wank chat (hopefully). That's happened to me more times than I'd care to remember, and I'm in my 50s. 🙄

Yep also I’m my 50’s and had one start wanking while were talking on the phone 🤢
