Anyone an expert on Facebook dating?

I have never done OLD before, but feelings bruised by a man I thought I'd give it a go.

I made a profile and had to do a video selfie for verification. In the meantime started chatting to a few men (exciting/terrifying). 2 days later I got blocked by FB dating, saying my video selfie didn't pass their procedure. You can delete your profile and make another in 7 days, however it says if I delete my dating profile without verification, I'll never be allowed to make another one or have access to FB dating again. But there's no means of having another go at the verification, or apparently of contacting FB about it, I just go round in circles.

Does anyone know how to do the verification again, or know if I do delete my profile whether I will be blocked forever from making another one? I thought FB dating might be a good first try as the demographic for FB is more my age bracket!

Bumping to add screenshot of what I see when I try to get in. When I go to delete profile it says I will never be allowed another one if I don't verify this one. When I click on the verify button, it takes me back to my profile

I recently joined FB dating and didn’t have to do any sort of verification.

However I’ve had the same issue with another dating app where I apparently failed the video verification- despite it being me and all my photos recent and unfiltered - and I’ve got a life ban 🤷‍♀️

I would say try and contact FB support however they’re useless and it’s just bots no humans involved.
