Hi all
I just wondered peoples experiences and whether people have found it easier or harder to meet someone after having a baby. And when I say meet someone I don’t mean anything casual, I do mean a genuine relationship.
my relationship with DD (7 months old), dad is over, we do live together whilst we are selling the house but we decided to end things amicably a few months ago now. And by no means am I ready to start looking yet, but I guess I’m just curious as I’m fairly young - 27 - and some nights I do get quite upset about our failed relationship and the thought of a long lonely life ahead once DD is all grown up and doing her own thing. Obviously it’s a long way from now but I suppose knowing there’s some positives, and also negatives, might help me to stop wondering whether it’s likely that I do face quite a lonely future given I do have DD now. Not many men I know would be happy to date a girl with a child….
