I was 60 a few weeks ago and got ZERO from my nephews and nieces. no cards or phone calls. I got a card from my mum and her friend thats all.

I looked after my nephew for many years, the police would bring him to me when his mum was drunk. His school contacted me rather than her.

My other niece and nephews ended up on a caravan site when their dad had an affair and his church threw them out and kept him on as a minister. Sister died of cancer later.
My mum is over 90, she lives next door.
My brother has dementia and is in local nursing home and i need to clear his home,

I am overwhelmed, sad and dont know what to do ,
Thanks for reading

This sounds painful. I am sorry life hasn't given you the good things you deserve. The only thing to do is keep on keeping on. There will be opportunities in your future to build connections and I hope you do find that care and support 💐

Sending you (((hugs)))

Take each day at a time if you're feeling overwhelmed and try not to think too far ahead.

Have your nephews and nieces forgotten it's your birthday do you think?

Big hug for you. It sounds like things are heavy at the moment. Take one day at a time. Today how about you invite a nephew or niece over for a belated birthday tea?

Sending a hug to you xx
