My boyfriend comes back from work late every night. At weekends he sees his friends. We’re not married yet and no kids. Been together 2yrs.
He’s never sweet or gentle. I wonder if there’s more to life.

Is there enough to want to work at it? If so, talk to him about what you need.
If not, leave him and follow the tips on here about getting over someone - mainly keep yourself busy and invest in you.
