OLD - are there any serious men?

I seem to meet men who are eternally single, and despite what their profiles say, aren't looking for a long term relationship? I get literally hundreds of likes every day, dozens of matches, loads of dates. And it's the same old story, time and time again. They seem quite content being single and middled aged.

I suggest you join the dating thread where you can see everyone else’s experience. Your experience reflect reality - the majority are after casual dates and sex with no commitment.

Why is it surprising that men don't need women to survive and may be quite proficient at looking after themselves?
Is it remotely possible that just sometimes they like intimacy occasionally and use dating sites for that purpose.
There's lots of thread on here where women don't want to live with a man yet miss intimacy and sex.

@lookeelikee but if anyone's profile says "looking for a relationship" when they just want casual why not just say that? OP indicated that their profiles say looking for a relationship until you meet up

So if you want casual just say that. Then others will know.

A FWB is a relationship. It may not be a conventional relationship but it is a relationship.
Likewise an LAT relationship wouldn't be conventional but is still a relationship.
Perhaps the term relationship is skewed.
