Ive posted twice before but need advice on what you would make of this!

apparently the ow and my h stopped talking at the start of Feb, to my knowledge they have had no contact since, on Saturday we took out little boy out together and she was drunk and phoned him, her number wasn’t saved but he acted sheepish and was like eh who’s this phoning me, I said it’s OW name he then later said I had a feeling it was due to the ending of the number. He has said he hasn’t spoken since and this was random.

I didn’t make contact with her, she then phoned saying she misses me and the reason she phoned him was to talk to me but she had blocked and deleted my number (even though she messaged me and called me)

why would she contact him after no contact?

Hello, I am not sure I'm understanding the situation well, she misses you, wanted to talk to you, not him? Why

How2003 · 22/04/2024 14:09

Sorry @Wrapmelon she was my friend, they had at the very least/what I know of an emotional affair, met eachother, he bought her a gift, she sent a nude photo!

Sounds like she is either trying to reignite things or they never stopped.

If your DH is serious about no contact, he can change his number or block her number. Not that hard for him to do.

Trust your gut - do you think this was a one off random call from her, or that he is hiding more?

Dozycuntlaters · 22/04/2024 14:30

I imagine she phoned you saying that she missed you to try and dig him out of a hole so you don't discover its still going on. I bet neither of them cut contact, they just got more sneaky. If he didnt want to hear from her he would have blocked her.

My guess too.

OP if you have posted twice before about your H then there are obviously issues in your relationship.
He cheated (emotionally or otherwise).
Your friend betrayed you by sending inappropriate photos.
They continue to be in contact one another.
Why are you putting yourself through this?
You need to get rid of them both.

How2003 · 22/04/2024 15:07

Thank you ladies, I know! In a bit of a sticky situation at the moment, we have a 2 year old and we have sold the house as a result of off this so im stuck here until the sale goes through!

At this point I don’t know what to believe regarding the contact, I do somewhat believe it was random but like you say he didn’t even block her number!

Why did he act sheepish? If he's now no longer in contact with her and if he suspected it was her, why didn't he just say to you at the time that he thinks it might be OW calling?

RandomForest · 22/04/2024 15:47

Get rid of both of them.

Neither one is conducive to bringing you peace of mind to bring your child up.

He's a rat and she's a snake.
Nasty people, get away from them.
It's as simple as that.

Wrapmelon · 22/04/2024 16:20

@How2003 o I'm sorry this is your situation.
Do you have other good friends still?
Very hurtful this. I guess previous pp's are right, both of them are not good to you. Your life will be in the lift when it's just you and your child, i'm sure. You will be able to enjoy being a mum, instead of worrying about dc's cheating father. I hope there is another better friend to help you through this. Keep your chin up op, none of this is your fault.

theworldie · 22/04/2024 16:21

So if I have this correct: you were out with dh and the ow (and your ex friend) rang his phone? You saw it was her ringing but he tried to act all shocked as he’s supposedly blocked her?

Then later she rang you to say the reason she rang him was because she actually wanted to talk to you? But couldn’t ring your phone bc she’d blocked you (yet at that moment she could figure out how to unblock you for some reason?)

Yeah, they’re bullshitting you op. He’s got on to her when he’s alone and they’ve come up with a cock and bull story - they must think you’re stupid.

Epidote · 22/04/2024 16:59

At least of them them, although more likely the two of them are playing with you.

MILTOBE · 22/04/2024 17:21

So she messaged you to say the reason she'd messaged him when she was drunk was because she didn't have your number because she'd blocked you?

She's not exactly bright, is she?
