Fucking hell DD’s dad has got some nerve

I’ve got to laugh or I’ll rage and that won’t help anything.

For context Dd has not seen her dad for 2 years, as his partner was hurting Dd whilst she was staying with them. It was awful, and he did nothing to protect/help Dd. He refused to make any changes to protect Dd so obviously contact couldn’t happen at their house. He blocked me everywhere and hasn’t spoken or seen Dd since.

Until 3 days ago where he messaged asking me to accept £100 a month child maintenance because it’s going up next month and he’s struggling financially. Bearing in mind he works part time (no disabilities or anything else - he just doesn’t want to pay for Dd) and to stop going through CMS because it will make his life easier 😂

I haven’t replied or done anything because there’s no point and I won’t be stopping CMS!

But fucking hell the cheek of this man. He didn’t even ask how Dd was 🤬

Mine tried to offer me £70 a month less than what CMS ended up calculating as he knew it was going to cost him. I refused his oh so general offer.

Now he isn't paying a penny as I believe he's jacked his job in and gone travelling with his new girlfriend with the money I paid to buy him out of the house 🤦‍♀️

Also hasn't seen her or even sent a card in over 2 years. She calls him by his first name now and calls DP Daddy, came out with it herself and I've let her go with what she's most comfortable with.

I believe (but may be wrong) that CMS charge the the payer a higher amount if they have to formally deduct it from their wages. So he’s being cheeky asking you to accept less than cms have suggested.

Ive a feeling I will be in a similar position soon myself.
