Hi all, I have been with my partner for 10 years and we share a 3 yr old.

The last couple of years, our relationship has not been what it was. He doesn't help with childcare , housework, shopping, etc unless asked and snaps at me alot. I own the house and when he moved in, i continued paying the mortgage on my own and he paid half the bills with me. Does he have an claim on my property?

Does anyone have any info on custody works? He is the type to just into another relationship and i dont want my child exposed to strangers. He puts himself first. We aren't married.
