First date nerves

As the title suggests really. I haven't been on a date in over a year. Just meeting for a coffee this evening. I've never been good at dating, I can be quite socially awkward, find it difficult to maintain eye contact, always feel like I want to go home even if I like the person because I get so nervous/anxious.

Any advice? Thank you :)

I would say don't think of it as a date, just think of it as meeting up with someone for a chat and to see if you get on. Try not to have too many expectations and if you dont feel you gel you can always leave after one coffee. If you met online hopefully you know a bit about each other already so start with things you have already touched on and l'm sure you will be fine.

There's nothing to be nervous about. Except drinking caffeine after 4pm. And being judged by this person. Will they like you? Will you like them? Are you going to stay together forever? Oh god .... I'm nervous now.
