First dates

Over the last few weeks I've been on two first dates.
Date no 1 was with a guy I met through a friend, he wasn't my type physically but we got on so well. I really enjoyed his company. We agreed to meet again, but he is so flakey. He is always busy and can't seem to find a date that suits him. He texts every few days, usually general chit chat.
We all know that if a man likes you, he will make an effort to see you. This guy is clearly not bothered.

The second date was with a great man who is much more my type, tall chatty and seems lovely. He is obviously very keen - texts all the time (too much!!) And is free to meet anytime.

Why oh why am I obsessed with the first bloke!?? What's wrong with me? I feel like I'm 16 again, thinking about a boy who is obviously not that bothered.
It's driving me mad!!!

I can't answer your question, but I don't understand why you have called him 'flakey' and then said 'he is always so busy'. They aren't the same thing at all.

Have you considered that he may well be interested but is actually busy. It would depend on whether he is always busy, too busy for a relationship, or if it a temporary phase that you've caught him at.
