If Dh reads my whatsapp messages on the desktop computer will i get a notification on my phone?

Surely he can only get in your whattsapp on any device by being logged in as you. So the service thinks you've been looking at it, not him, so won't notify you. The only way to find out if he looks, would be to get a friend to whattsapp you, then ask that friend to tell you when or if the ticks go blue ( as in read), without you looking at the message on your phone. If you are wanting to test what he does and being sneeky about it. But, on computer he can only see stuff if he knows your login, so if he does, change your PW, or change it anyway, just in case.

No, there won't be a notification, though a message would show as read (blue ticks) if it was read first on the other device, though it sometimes takes a few seconds to synch.

You can see it under Linked Devices. Depends on what operating system your phone uses in terms of where you'll find this option.

On Android click on the 3 dots at the top right

On IOS it is in the Settings area of WhatsApp

It shows all the devices your WhatsApp account is linked to and allows you to log out of those devices. It also tells you the last time you were online using the linked device.

Although do bear in mind that you can disable Read Reports (blue ticks) in Privacy Settings.
