Does anyone know of a discreet way to meet a man as an early 60s female? For various reasons I don’t want to put a profile on a dating app as there are people I’d rather not see it. Unfortunately I live too far away from meet up groups etc and tbh my age is a drawback as they either seem to be for up to 50/55 or for old(er) people - like day centres 😂 I’ve drawn a blank at hobby groups. Living rurally doesn’t help. It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack and so I’d like to narrow it down a bit! This is a genuine quest and any kind advice would be appreciated. I’d love to find someone to enjoy special times with and hopefully a mutual connection. Thank you.

Put a profile up without a picture and say you will supply one privately?

You can pay to use incognito mode on some dating apps (bumble, hinge, probably Tinder). You can see others' profiles but they can't see yours unless you swipe on them.

Muddy matches is a site for people living and working rurally (not sure if they have incognito).

Singles events like speed dating? Otherwise maybe an actual matchmaking agency?

Might be worth following some localish pubs on social media. The type that have quizzes and bands etc. they might have the occasional event. We accidentally found ourselves in the midst of a singles night on Friday at our local! Seemed to be all ages there!

I’d try Muddy Matches OP. More likely to find someone genuine there than Tinder.
