im thinking of contacting them tomorrow as i have had enough... but im so scared i have anxiety and panic attacks. 😔 i have a few questions to anyone who has been in one, do they get socialservices involved? will they help with clothes and essentials etc? how long before you got a council house? would i be put in a shared accommodation as i have four kids. i dont have a phone or anything is there any support i can get with this? and what kind of emotional support is provided, sry for all the questions!

Yes, they will help with all essentials.
Please, don't worry about this.

They will talk you through your options about getting social service involvement.

Please, don't be afraid, you have taken the right step.

You have done the right thing for you and your kids. You will be found somewhere to live.

Only by giving your local one a call will you get your answers. Each area may do things differently so take a pad and pen to the phone & make notes.

Knowledge is power so armed with whatever answers they give you, it will help you make up your mind about what to do next.

Small steps in the right direction and before you know it you’ll be out the other side.

Sending a virtual hug and a handhold. Stay strong and resolute as you face the challenges to come. Good luck!
