So I've recently re-evaluated the people in my life. End result due to a change in my circumstances, seeing some true colours and realising some just don't fit anymore, I've suddenly found myself pretty much companionless!

I'm a stupidly loyal friend and realised this has led me to be used quite a bit and although I've had no real issue with this, I now find myself at a time of my life where I am bored so I've stopped being always available for those that simply take and need to make some new friends.

I'm not after a bestie just a mixture of different people that want to hang out and do different things. I gel with lots of different types of people. But how? Where do I find them?

So far I've made one online! Not really in a position to make more mum friends. Or meet through work. I can't for the life of me find a group to join doing something I'm interested in in my area. I'm not a hobbies kind of person or sporty.

I'm in my late 40s but wouldn't describe myself as grown up and serious at the moment. I'm single after an incredibly long relationship but after giving dating a go I am incredibly disappointed with what is on offer for my age so although I'd like to meet someone that is not a priority right now.

So what can I try?
