DP and I have been together for 7 years. We got engaged 3 years ago but then things changed. He has become disinterested in our relationship. We have talked a lot about our future and, on paper, he wants the same things but there is no evidence to suggest he wants to be with me any more.
He has become very lazy in all aspects of our relationship. There is no intimacy unless he wants sex but he has noticed that it's no longer something I want and this is something that bothers him. He does not help out around the house unless I keep on at him to "help" me and then he expects me to thank him for doing it.
We had originally set a date for our wedding, but that passed without him noticing as he stopped being interested in it, so I stopped planning it.
We have 4 children between us, 2 are mine and 2 his.
I feel like he doesn't want to be in the relationship any longer, although he says differently, but that he is waiting for me to make the decision.
I am aware that I am likely being played a fool here. Any other thoughts on the matter are greatly received!!
