Is it normal to still feel angry at times?

We broke up 3 years ago and I'm well over him. I used to be a calm, rational person, but towards the end of the relationship I developed awful anxiety, which has led me to overthink at times.

I'm doing well overall, I'd never want to go back there, but every now and again I get angry about something I lost out on due to the breakup, something that worked in his favour.

I actually don't want to be thinking about this at all but can't get it out of my head at times.

Anyone experience similar that has any tips on how to get rid of this anger after so long?

It’s normal and the best way is to not make a big deal of the anger with yourself, or shame yourself for it

so allow it to ebb and flow
but also look after yourself
