Just had my fingers badly burned on hinge. Is match or any of the others any better.

@kkloo I can't remember tbh, it was years ago. Regardless of it was 18 mths or 18 years, it was absolutely pointless and an utter waste of money!
I've had much better luck on bumble (she says.....whilst sitting here single...)

Someone on here mentioned dating agencies? I'd love to find out more- Might be tempted to go down that route ,like a traditional matchmaker

I tried to chat a while back and ended up doing a random chat with someone before meeting in person. Honestly, it made things way less awkward and gave a much better sense of who they were.

Not every match works out, but that little face-to-face over the app felt way more real than just messaging, and it helped me figure out if it was worth meeting in person without wasting time.

Nope. I paid for a months subscription and deleted my account after a week. Absolute waste of money

I met dp on OurTime and he is lovely so I’d say yes, but I think I was the second person he met, he wasn’t on there for long. Match was awful, Hinge was ok. At least OurTime eliminated all the 27 year olds informing me they wanted a MILF experience (more like GILF to you mate).
