13 year age gap

Just wondered if this is this too much of a big age gap?

Female 30 and Male 43.

I have 1 DS and him none.

We're getting to know each other but since I have no experience of dating older men, I thought I'd seek your thoughts.

10.5 years difference between me and my husband of 8 years! I am 34 and he is 44. We have the same goals, ambitions and outlook on life and never had any issues (except when we joke that he used to dance to steps/s-club etc at university when I was a 10 year old girl!!)

I personally don't think it's anyone else's business. If you're of consenting age and there's no vulnerable adults involved, there's no issues.

12.5 years between me and him indoors. Married for 31 years this year. It can sometimes work!

The thing is 30-43 not a great deal of difference
40-53 this is where the difference can become apparent
50-63 one heading for retirement other still got 15 years left working
60-73 last working years other one set at home
70-83 finally retired other one slowing down and to old to have fun retirement

80 -? Left in there own

Thank you all.

I'm also concerned that he may be mostly attracted to me physically because he compliments my appearance quite a bit.

Thank you. I didn't consider any of this. I was mostly focusing on the present.

At your age now it's fine.
Not so great for you when you're 50 and he's 63, and so on.
I'm.sure he will still be attracted to you with the passage of time but will you still feel attracted to an older man?
Take a close look.at how he takes care of himself. If he drinks a lot of alcohol, smokes or doesn't exercise, he won't age well.

I married an older man (10 years) and I was widowed at 40 with three children. He had a sudden heart attack.

I wouldn’t do it again. Current partner is 2 years younger than me.
