Help...how do I get over this? Ending a relationship despite being madly in love

How do you deal with the end of a relationship when you are madly in love with the other person, and you know that they're on love with you. We are not great together, we don't support each other in the way we really need it. Mental health issues have played a big role on both sides but I know that we need to be apart. It is breaking me though. How do I get through this? Thank you.

You need to find your anger at them. Have you written out a list of things they did that you didn't like?

It's hard when all I want is for things to be good again. He's not a bad person at all. We deal with things very differently which causes so many problems. Our needs are very different and despite trying we cannot find a compromise which means we end up not seeing eye to eye more and more often. Neither of us are at fault, but we are hurting each other and ourselves by being together.
